SIMMONS PASSES AWAY Mrs. Mollie Simmons, aged and respected resident of Moniteau County and widow of the late Jordan Simmons, died at the family home near Enon Sunday February 22, 1931, following an illness of several months. Death was superinduced by a paralytic stroke Mrs. Simmons suffered several days ago. Mrs. Simmons had resided in the Enon vicinity for a number of years and was loved and admired by everyone with whom she came in contact. Her husband was for many years a prominent resident of Moniteau County and was one of the pioneer settlers of the Enon and High Point Community. Five sons and one daughter survive. They are; HENRY, OLIVER, AND CHARLES, all of the home; JESSE of McGirk; EZRA of Russellville; MRS WADE MILLER of Kansas City. The funeral services were held from the Enon Baptist Church, Tuesday morning at 11:00 a.m. Burial was made in ENLOE CEMETERY near Russellville.
