She died at the Latham Sanitarium at 6:30 p.m. Thursday. Death was attributed to a lung clot. Mrs. McBroom was born August 28, 1932 in Moniteau County, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. D. Blaylock. She was a graduate of Clarksburg High School. On May 6, 1952, she was married to Neil McBroom, who survives. She is also survived by an infant daughter, Patricia Jo, born February 27, (1956) her parentss; and a sister, Mrs. Ralph Sanders of California. Services will be held at the Christian Church of California, the Rev. Melvin McCurty officiating, with burial in city cemetery.
