He was born Feb. 1, 1893, near Russellville, a son of W O and Nancy Meador Amos. He was married on Oct. 5, 1911, to Laura Strobel, who preceded him in death. A retired farmer, he was a member of the Jefferson City Church of God. Survivors include two son, Kenneth Amos and Basil Amos, both of Russellville. Funeral services were held Sunday with Rev. Gayle Van Asdale officiating. Burial was in the Enloe Cemetery.
