Elizabeth I interested in Robert A. Wilson... his mother (Mary Black?) I believe married Joseph Byler.. a second or third marriage. In Morgan Co., his farm was located adjacent to Lot Howard and John McClanahan. Versailles is the same spot I'm interested in... I've been trying to get a handle on the WILSON family in Morgan for some time... my ancestors somehow picked up that surname. What I realized is the my Wilson ancestor somehow hooked up with the Patterson family -- who in 1860 in Cooper Co., lived with Penelope Byler. The Bylers as far as a I can tell had a WILSON and a HOWARD connection... SMILEY too. There is a book out on the BYLERS that discusses these ties to an extent by I have been unable to get a copy of the book. The children you mention sound like they may have a connection to the Robert A. Wilson above. My notes from the 1860 census for Robert Wilson are: Wilson, Robert 41 Wilson, Mary 39 [Alabama] Wilson, Wm. H. 19 Wilson, John C. 18 Wilson, Mary E. 15 Wilson, Joseph A. 13 Wilson, James D 11 Wilson, Harriet 9 Wilson, Lizzie E. 4 Wilson, Robert 5/12 Actually -- I think these WILSONS connect to the family of Henry Wilson from Bourbon CO., KY. Not sure.. but since your Wilsons are in the same area.. I'm curious.. if the Lizzie above is your Elizabeth? traci wilson-kleekamp deboz wrote: > > My Wilson side of the family were living in Versailles area of Morgan County > in 1860.
