This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/XKB.2ACE/247.1 Message Board Post: I read some of your other Shuman queries and feel you are trying to find the appropriate slot in which to place David. Sorry that I don't have A LOT of information on him---he died too early. He married Martha KELSAY in Morgan Co. MO, and the couple had several children before he died pre 1850. Martha and 3 daughters--Permelia, Nancy, & Mary are living near Martha's sister, Mary J. KELSAY TOW, wife of William TOW in 1850 Moniteau Co. MO. In the early 1850's, Martha went with the Tows to Texas where Martha married a widower, John Ferguson Morgan. Information from some of the TOW children says they were living in Fannin Co. TX when the last 2 or 3 Tow children were born. The Morgans were living in Hopkins Co. TX in 1850, so I am not sure where Martha met and married John F. BUT, both the Morgans and Tows were in Llano Co. TX by the time it was created in 1856, and all remained there until their deaths. Permelia never married. Nancy m. John Henry Leonared Behrns. Mary m. Hiram Douglas Morgan, a son of John F. by wife #1. Martha & John F. had 4 additional children, but only 2 lived to adulthood. ALL are buried in the Tow Cemetery, Llano Co. TX. (pronounced like "how now brown cow....not TOE) I would be interested in what you have or learn about David's heritage since there are descendants of his still living in Llano Co. TX. Thanks.
