Thanks for the additional information. I do not have any family information so am basing my analysis strictly on the census and what you say. Assuming that Sallie was correct about her mother being born in Missouri, I still think that Beverly B. Baise was her father and her mother was his first wife, name unknown to me. With the gaps in birth years, the difference in the two names and birth states we have for Beverly's later wives, I believe that Suzy J and Jane T were wives #2 & #3 respectively so the family appears to be as follows. Descendants of Beverly B. Baise 1 Beverly B. Baise Sex: Male b: Abt. 1829 in Kentucky . +spouse 1 Sex: Female b: in Missouri m: Abt. 1851 .. 2 Sarah C. It looks like his and hers on the 1870 and then a bunch of theirs on the 1880. These census records are not consistant except for the Joseph Looks like the neighbors gave the information. Jerry, I am still undecided between the two. John was born in Ky and his wife Sarah was born in MO as my Sallie states on her records as well as death certificate Her eldest son born in 1881 was named John and her maiden name on records was spelled Baise not Baze which seems pretty consistant with Beverly Baze decendents and ancestors. I have both in my data base with qualification. I will be coming to Nebraska this summer and will come on in to Missouri to see if I can find a will or probate for either or both of them. As always, genealogy is a work in progress. The 1880 Census with Humphrey and Sallie is my family. They went on to have 4 more children. John born in 1881, Margaret born in 1883 (My grandmother), Catherine born in 1885 and David born in 1887. John, Margaret and Catherine moved to California about 1900 through 1912. Sallie also moved to California and died there in 1937. Humphrey died in Moniteau Co about 1922 and is buried in the Annunciation Catholic Cemetery in California MO. Mary Elizabeth died as a young woman and Catherine raised her daughter in San Francisco. John never married and Hannorah married but had no children. Margaret had two daughters and David never left Missouri, living most of his adult life in Saint Joseph. He had several children. Thank you so much for your response. Susan Young Medford OR

GLASCOCK PASSES AWAY This community was saddened on last Thursday afternoon by the death of one of its pioneer residents, Mrs. Sarah Margaret Glascock, aged 79 years, after a lingering illness. Death was superinduced by a fall nine weeks ago, in which she sustained a fractured hip. Mrs. Glascock was born and reared in Cole County, near Russellville, being the daughter of Richard and Mellie Berry Isom, Pioneer settlers of Cole County. In 1872, she was married to William C. Glascock, who pre- ceded her in death 31 years ago. Mrs. Glascock is mourned and survived by three children, James, Mollie and Lulu, one granddaughter and two brothers, Lon Isom, of Jefferson City and John Isom, of Sedalia, Mo. Mrs. Glascock was one of the oldest and most esteemed residents of Russellville. She was a fine Christian character, being a member of the old Baptist Church for many years. She was a kind devoted mother maintaining her little family in the face of many hardships during the long years of widowhood, but never complaining or losing courage. The same courage and patience were hers during the long days of suffering but she bore it all in a cheer- ful and patient manner. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday from the Russellville Church. Rev. H. L. Enloe, an old neighbor and friend of the deceased officiating at services and burial was made in the Enloe Cemetery at this place. The funeral arrangements were in charge of G. N. Steffens, undertaker of Russellville.
Susan, Here are a couple of census records. John and Sarah do not appear to have been her parents. At least her father appears to have been B. B.
