Ramsey, one of south Miller County's aged and highly respected citizens, passed away at his home four miles west of Brumley, June 16th, at 5:30 p.m., at the age of 85 years, 9 months and 15 days. Mr. Ramsey retired from active farm duties several years ago, and for the past three or four years his health had been on the decline. During this time his daughter, Mrs. A.T. Graham lived with him and took care of him during his last illness. His wife died about thirteen years ago. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. G.W. Duncan of Iberia, Mrs. A.T. Graham of Brumley and Mrs. Hobert Wall of Tuscumbia; one son, J.F. Ramsey of Kaiser, Mo.; one stepson, Wesley Bilyeu of Sheridan, Wyoming; one stepdaughter, Mrs. John Wallis of Brumley; three brothers, James Ramsey of Newton, Kans., G.M. Ramsey of Iberia and F.S. Ramsey of Crocker besides a host of other relatives.
