Unknown Publication, December 1944 Mrs. Mary Ann Cooper died at her home near Ulman December 23. She was born in the state of Kentucky July 23, 1852, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Graham. She was married to Elias Cooper and to this union seven children were born, of which five preceded her in death. Those surviving are one son, Sam F. Cooper of near Ulman, and one daughter, Mrs. Martha Patterson of Kansas City, MO. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. Her husband preceded her in death several years ago. At an early age Mrs. Cooper became a member of the Methodist Church and spent most of her life here in Miller County, being 92 years and five months of age at the time of her passing. Funeral services conducted by Rev. Virgil Smith of Ulman, were held at 2:00 o'clock in the afternoon on Christmas and burial was in the Gott Cemetery.
