The Kansas City Star, August 1963 Mrs. Emma E. Allen, 91, of 737 Packard, Kansas City, Kansas, died yesterday at the home after a 3-month illness. Mrs. Allen was born in Tuscumbia, Mo., and moved to Kansas City, Kansas 28 years ago. She was a member of the Gospel Tabernacle Church. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Dollie Coffman, 1517 North Eighteenth; Mrs. Daisy Anson, 1501 North Twenty-third; Mrs. Maude Overton, 404 North Tenth; Mrs. Ella Venard, 401 ½ North Sixth, and Mrs. Dorothy Rhabe, Plainville, Kans.; three sons, Edgar Cotton, Logan, Kans.; Everett Cotton, Glendale, Ariz.; and Lloyd Allen 9901 Oakdale; 34 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Visitation from 7-9 p.m. Monday at Warnick-Eads Funeral Chapel. Services at 3 p.m. on Tuesday from the Gospel Tabernacle, 934 Scott. Interment, Maple Hill Cemetery.
