Unknown Publication, March 1935 Charles Wesley Pendleton, an aged Miller County citizen residing on a farm about two miles northeast of St. Anthony, died at St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City Saturday night, March 16, from the effects of a ruptured appendix. He took seriously ill on Wednesday of last week and was rushed to the hospital where he underwent an operation which proved of no avail. Mr. Pendleton was born near St. Elizabeth 76 years ago and resided in this county all his life. He is survived by his widow and seven children, namely: Mrs. John Hicks, Mrs. Lonnie Crane, Mary and Gladys at home, Luther, Roy and Otis Pendleton, besides a host of other relatives. Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Virgil Smith, were held at the Union Church near Brays Tuesday afternoon, after which interment was made in the cemetery at that place. Adams & Casey, Iberia Funeral Directors had charge of the funeral and burial.
I have Otis Pendleton, b. 20 Jan ??, near Iberia, MO, d. 5 Mar 1968 - JC, MO, m. 30 Oct 1925, Granite City, IL, to Hilda Mary Bax, b. 22 Apr 1907 St. E, d. bef 1993. Otis and Hild Pendleton had 6 children, born in Illinois, Pulaski Co., MO and Miller Co., MO. Is this the same Otis Pendleton as a son of Charles Wesley Pendleton mentioned in the obit below??
