The Iberia Sentinel, October 1936 Mrs. Frances Karr, wife of Elmer Karr, of five miles west of Iberia, died at the Lebanon hospital Saturday soon after giving birth to twin girls. Both babies died a short time before their mother passed away. She was about 38 years old. Mrs. Karr was Miss Frances Kinder before her marriage to Mr. Karr. She was born and reared in Illinois and their marriage was the culmination of a courtship during the time both attended Iberia Academy. Besides the husband, Mrs. Karr leaves four children to mourn her departure. Funeral services were conducted at the home Sunday by Rev. P.J. Eckhoff, pastor of the Iberia Congregational Church assisted by Dr. G. Byron Smith, president of Iberia Junior College. Death certificate is filed under Karr F. Kinder
