I have been searching a death notice or source and unable to find one.   Have you seen the picture of John Melvin Keeth on the Keeth/Slone site------what a devil he must of been-------check out the mustache -----ha ----I enjoy searching all the Keeth's.   For Information:  John Melvin was a probation officer in Oklahoma when he was married to Rosa his last wife, she owed a boarding house and he and his son worked for the City according to the census. I then received a letter from a lady looking for information on John Melvin as a probation officer he took in her grandmother when she was 4-years old he and Rosa she then was adopted and her name was changed in Oklahoma. Interesting these Keeths.   It seems one of the Keeth boys was a BRIDGE BUILDER------- --- Thanks again, Donna     Like you, I have no source for any of this either but have a death date of 7 Feb 1876 for Nancy S. Wall and a birth date of 8 Apr 1848. John Melvin had 6 wives according to my undocumented information. Nancy was the first m. 6 Feb 1867 in Texas County, MO. The rest are as follows: Martha Brown 7 Dec 1876 in Texas County, MO, Sarah Clemmons 13 Mar 1884 in Texas County, MO, Nancy Felts 17 Jan 1892 in Fulton County, AR, Nancy Smith 28 Sep 1893 in Izard County, AR, Rosa Miller 5 Mar 1906 in Benton County, AR. I have three children by Nancy S. Wall: Franklin McCager, John William and Thomas M., all born in Texas County, Missouri. I have 2 children, Mary E. and Perry by wife Martha Brown and two children, Julia and Dennis S. by wife Sarah Clemmons. Since I have no source listed, most likely the information came from Jim K. What an great resource he has been. Nancy T Hi Donna This is what I have, some via Nancy Thompson and some via Jim K. Paddy I have Nancy's death date as 7 Feb 1876. John Melvin died in Muskogee, OK, so it is probable that she died there as well. I have no source for any of these notes so would guess they came from James K. Nancy Wall married John Melvin Keeth. She is daughter of Wm Wall and Lima ? Wm born abt 1790 Ireland; Lima abt 1807 Ky; maybe 2nd wife, but no kids before 1830; Mary 1831 Ky, Adena 1834 Ky, Sally 1835 Ky, James 1837 Ky, Robert 1839 Ky, William 1844, Nancy 2 months old 1850 Ky; could be other wife for older children and Lima comes in after 1844. Nancy must have died before 1877 as John Melvin married a Martha Brown and had 5 kids. She was still alive in 1893. =========================== I have a death date for Nancy S Wall of abt. 1867 ( first wife of John Melvin Keeth) would anyone know the correct date.
