Jim, the name is Wickham. Some records has his name spelled Wickam. His brother Morgan changed his name to Wickam. And actually there were 10 children of Nelson & Marzila. To: [email protected] Message-ID: <[email protected]> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII" Nelson R. Wickham died at his home near St. Elizabeth, Missouri February the 14, 1936. He was born in Pennsylvania March 25, 1848. Mr. Wickham was united in marriage to A. Boyd, niece of Green Boyd, and to this union three children were born, William Wickham, Mrs. John Boyd and Mrs. J. Ahart. He was married the second time to Manzilla Grosvenor, and to this union six children were born, Edward, John, Belvia, George, Ilda and Claude. He was a Civil War veteran and a member of the G.A.R. He served as a private in Co. G. 16th Regiment, Kansas Volunteers. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Otto Shearrer of Iberia and held at the home Sunday, February 16. The American Legion Post of Iberia conducted the military services at the grave. The body was then laid to rest in the family cemetery near the home under direction of Adams & Casey, local funeral directors. Through census records and death certificates, I found 8, not 6 children born to Nelson and Marzilla. ---------------------- I had alot of the above names but had them as Wickman ???? but with the same spouses Which is correct??
