The Iberia Sentinel, Unknown date George Whittle, age 72, died on Wednesday of last week of leakage4 of the heart at the home of his son, Atho, near Henley, Mo., where he and his wife were staying. Mr. Whittle had been afflicted with this trouble for some time and his death did not come unexpected. He is survived by his wife and several sons and daughters, all of whom are married. He was a brother of Jim, Bob, Albert, Lee and ___ V. Whittle and Mesdames J.K. Wallis and Az Thomas, all of near Iberia. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Frank Moneymaker on Thursday and interment made in the Right Cemetery, west of Iberia.
