Crocker News, September 1930 Mrs. I.M. Phillips (Nee Izora Isabelle Willis) who has resided north of Crocker for a number of years, passed away about 3:00 Tuesday evening at her home. She had been in poor health for some time, but her condition was not considered serious and her death came suddenly, a terrible shock to relatives and friends. Of her immediate family she leaves five sons and one daughter; Clovis of York, Nebr., Mrs. Albert Hannah and Clifford, of Hancock, Ray of Alhambra, Calif., Curtis of Redlands, Cal., and Glenn of North Dakota, her husband having died seven years ago. She also leaves three brothers, J.W. Willis, of Crocker, Ed Willis of Sedalia, and F.E. Willis of Chicago, and one sister, Mrs. E.E. Bullock, of Shively, Ky., and other relatives. Mrs. Phillips was highly respected and will be missed in her community. Funeral arrangements have not been completed as we go to press, but burial will be at the Alder Springs Cemetery.
