Unknown Publication, July 1968 Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Stevinson Funeral Chapel in Iberia for Mrs. Nellie Mae Lewis. Mrs. Lewis, 74, died Friday, July 26, 1968, at the Normandy Osteopathic Hospital in St. Louis where she had been a patient since July 22. She was born Sept. 24, 1893 in Miller County near Iberia, the daughter of Joseph and Josephine (Shockley) Blankenship. On May 12, 1911 she was married to Jasper Lewis who preceded her in death in June 1958. Mrs. Lewis was a member of the Hickory Point Baptist Church near Iberia, and was formerly a member of the Iberia Baptist Church. She worked at Fort Leonard Wood and at the Lake of the Ozarks. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Ruth Morton of St. Louis, Mrs. Faye Lawson of Rte. 3, Dixon, and Mrs. Glennis Hysore of Bellefontaine Neighbors; seven..balance of copy missing
