Unknown Publication, December 1967 Funeral services for Mrs. Nellie M. Groves, 76, are set for 2 p.m. today (Thursday) at the First Christian Church in Iberia. Mrs. Groves died Tuesday, Dec. 12, 1967, at Memorial Community Hospital, Jefferson City, where she had been a patient for two days. She was born April 30, 1891 in Laclede County, near Sleeper, a daughter of William J. and Carrie (Sickendick) Teaverbaugh. The family moved near Iberia when she was four years old and she has lived in the community ever since. On January 3, 1909, she was married to Robert E. Groves, who survives at the home in Iberia. She was a member of the First Christian church, Iberia. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Groves is survived by two sons, Lloyd Groves, Eldon, and Louis Groves, Springfield; one daughter, Mrs. Eunice Burris, Celina, Tenn.; a half-sister, Mrs. Pearl Barlow..
