    3. Unknown Publication, April 1970 Mrs. Annie Marjorie (Johnston) von Gremp, 88, of Iberia, died Tuesday, April 28, 1970, at the Masonic home for the aged in St. Louis. Mrs. Von Gremp was born in Iberia on May 17, 1881, the daughter of the late George and Laura Irwin Johnston. In her early years she became a member of the Iberia Congregational Church and remained active in the church until her illness. Mrs. Von Gremp attended the Iberia Academy and was graduated in June 1900 with a diploma in music. She was married on June 13, 1900 to Dr. W.A. von Gremp. From this time forward Mrs. Von Gremp's life became closely interwoven in the life of the community as she worked with Mr. von Gremp in his many capacities. Mrs. Von Gremp was a member of the Iberia Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star and served as worthy matron for one year. Surviving are two sons, Bluford von Gremp of Waynesville, and James Ellis von Gremp of Camdenton; two daughters, Mrs. Zella von Gremp of Orlando, Fla., and Mrs. Vivian Humphrey of Waynesville; one stepson, Walter von Gremp of Los Angeles, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her husband, three brothers, and two sisters. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. last Thursday at the Congregational Christian Church of Iberia, with the Rev. Earl Brown officiating. Interment was in the Iberia Cemetery under the direction of the Stevinson Funeral Home of Iberia. Pallbearers were: Bob Gooderl, Jim von Gremp, Don Fancher, Bob Perkins, Jim Eads and Berry Livingston. Eastern Star memorial services were held Wednesday, April 29, at 7:30 p.m. at the Stevinson Chapel under the direction of the Iberia Chapter 537.
