Unknown Publication, March 1971 Mrs. Ruby Lucille Shelton, 56, of Rte. 3, Dixon, died Thursday, March 11, 1971, at the Pulaski County Hospital in Waynesville. Mrs. Shelton was born Nov. 12, 1914 in Miller County near Iberia, the daughter of William and Lucy Anna (Maley) [ I believe this should be Maylee] Golden. She was married Dec 24, 1929 near Iberia to Charles Shelton who survives. Mrs. Shelton had lived in Maries County since 1929 and before that resided in Miller County. She was a member of Wheeler Christian Church near Dixon. Other survivors include one son, Edward W. Shelton of Dixon and three sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Malmberg of Iberia, Mrs. Nellie Barnhart of Pacific, and Mrs. Maude Hicks of St. Elizabeth. Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Wheeler Christian Church near Dixon with the Rev. Ray McClary officiating. Interment was in the Wheeler Cemetery under the direction of the Stevinson Funeral Home of Iberia. Pallbearers were: Jake Malmberg, Bob Malmberg, Randy Malmberg, Jim Barnhart, Bud Lang and Junior Wilson.
