Unknown Publication, October 1970 Mrs. Iva C. Rowden, 87, Star Rte., Crocker, passed away Friday, Oct. 9, 1970, at the Charles E. Still Hospital in Jefferson City. Mrs. Rowden was born Aug. 10, 1883, in Miller County near Iberia, the daughter of Greenville and Jane (Freeman) Boyd. She was married Oct. 10, 1903 to Willis E. Rowden who preceded her in death on May 10, 1968. Mrs. Rowden was a member of the Iberia Assembly of God Church. Surviving are one son, Ray Rowden, Iberia; two daughters, Mrs. Redus Machon, Star Rte., Crocker, and Mrs. Wilma Hamilton, of Crocker; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Iberia Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Fred Curtman and the Rev. Wilford David officiating. Interment was in the Iberia Cemetery under the direction of the Stevinson Funeral Home of Iberia. Pallbearers were Orville Griffin, Vernon Keeth, Belvia Boyd, Ellis Boyd, Victor Rowden, Danny Rowden Morris Earp and Troy Phillips.
