    3. Unknown Publication, unknown date Mrs. Ruth Frances Grady, 71, died Monday at her home in Iberia after a lengthy illness. She was born Aug. 14, 1894, at Chariton, Iowa, the daughter of John Esaw and Etta (Wright) Groves. She was married Jan. 17, 1919, to Walter F. Grady who died in 1941. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Mrs. Mary O'Donald. Mrs. Grady clerked in the Grady and Porter Store, and later in the Rowden Store in Iberia. Survivors include one brother, Wayne Groves of Iberia; one sister, Mrs. Effie M. McDonald of Sacramento, Calif.; and two nieces whom she reared in her home, Mrs. Marcia Ann Shackleford, Lake Ozark and Mrs. Marie Alice Shackleford, Iberia. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Iberia, where the funeral was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. Jack Zike officiating. Mrs. Grady, a resident of Miller County since 1927, was a past matron of Iberia Chapter 537, Order of the Eastern Star; and a member and treasurer of the Royal Neighbors of America. Eastern Star rites were conducted at Scrivner-Stevinson Chapel at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Burial was in the Iberia Cemetery under the direction of Scrivner-Stevinson Funeral Home of Iberia. Pallbearers were Russell Mobley, Berry Livingston, Oral Atwell, Okley Kinder, and Jed and Ted Groves.
