Unknown Publication, July 1968 Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Phillips Chapel in Eldon for Mrs. Dona Doubikin of Charlevoix, Mich., a native of Miller County who served as a school teacher for 43 years. Mrs. Doubikin, 63, died last Thursday, July 18, 1968, in Charlevoix. She was born Jan. 24, 1905, at Iberia, a daughter of John D. and Aulta (Ramsey) Brumley. She was married Sept. 25, 1925, at Eldon to Lonnie E. Doubikin. Mr. Doubikin died in May, 1958. Mrs. Doubikin was a member of the Mt. Zion Christian Church. She taught school in Missouri 35 years, and in Michigan, eight years. Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Aulta Brumley, 808 Colorado Ave., Eldon, and three sisters, Mrs. Jennie Schultz, Elkton, Mich., Mrs. Rayma Livingston, Etterville, and Mrs. Evelyn Scott, Boonville. Memorial services for Mrs. Doubikin were held Friday in Michigan. The Rev. Earl Brown of Iberia officiated at the services at Eldon Sunday. Burial was in the Livingston Cemetery near Iberia. Pallbearers were Bob Nixdorf, Jack Ramsey, John Schultz, Gerard Schultz, Dan Schultz, and Elmer Musick.
