Unknown Publication October 1967 Funeral services were held Oct. 7 at Dixon for Loren Barnhart, 39, Ferguson, who died Oct. 4 at Veteran's Hospital in St. Louis. Burial was in Lawson Cemetery. A son of Virgil and Florence Barnhart, he was born Nov. 8, 1927, in Miller County. On April 27, 1950, he married Dixie Marie Akery, who survives. Mr. Barnhart served with the Navy during World War II, and was a member of the Dixon Church of Christ. Also surviving are two sons, Randall and Monte, and a daughter, Pamela; his mother, Mrs. Florence Barnhart of Dixon, and a sister, Mrs. Ruby Roberds of Meta.
