    3. Unknown Publication, December 1972 William Albert McKee, 87, of Iberia died Sunday, Dec. 24, 1972, at Memorial Community Hospital in Jefferson City. Mr. McKee was born Jan. 27, 1885 in Miller County near Iberia, the son of William and Laura (Keeth) McKee. He was married Sept. 23, 1917 to Mary Humphrey, who preceded him in death on Feb. 27, 1969. Mr. McKee lived in the Iberia area all of his life with the exception of a few years in St. Louis where he was employed as a street car conductor. While living in the Iberia area, he farmed and was employed at Fort Leonard Wood. Mr. McKee was a member of the Brays Advent Christian Church since early in life and served as a church trustee and was on the cemetery committee. Also preceding him in death were two brothers, Minzo and Vernie, and two sisters, Mrs. Cora Morrow and Mrs. Ella Helton. Surviving are one son, Jennings McKee of Bunceton; two daughters, Mrs. Eunice Mace of Iberia, and Mrs. Phyllis Sumner of Dawson, Minn.; two brothers, Henry McKee of Meta and Hirstey McKee of Iberia; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Brays Advent Christian Church with the Rev. Aldon Veach and the Rev. Miles Bowden officiating. Interment was in the Union Cemetery under the direction of the Stevinson Funeral Home of Iberia. Honorary pallbearers were Bill Skaggs, Budge McKee, Willard Hartung, Jim Sisco, Okley Kinder and Roselle Pendleton. Active pallbearers were his grandsons.
