Unknown Publication, February 1970 Albert Newton Keeth, son of Anderson and Martha (Smith) Keeth, was born near Iberia on July 5, 1876, and passed away at Fulton on Feb. 1, 1970 at the age of 93 years. On Oct. 13, 1907 he was married to Effie Barnhart, who preceded him in death on Jan. 29, 1961. He had spent most of his life in this area until his hospitalization, having been a farmer and carpenter until retirement. He was a member of the Iberia Church of Christ. He is survived by two sons, Laymon of Iberia, and Raymon of LaVerne, Calif.; two daughters, Irene Winfrey and Lorene Fancher of Iberia; 134 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Church of Christ in Iberia on Tuesday, at 2 p.m. with Bro. Byron Corn officiating. Interment was in the Union Cemetery under the direction of the Stevinson Funeral Home of Iberia. Pallbearers were Dora Hickey, Bob Law, Kenneth Kellison, Ronnie Winfrey, Terry Fancher, and Calvin Beard.
