    3. Jefferson City News Tribune, October 1999 Flo L. Kallenbach, 93, Raymore, formerly of Jefferson City, died Oct. 4, 1999, at Foxwood Springs Living Center. She was born June 2, 1906, a daughter of James and Margaret Pasley. She was married in 1926 to Arthur Summers, who died in 1977. She was married Aug. 5, 1979, to Harry Kallenbach, who survives at the home. She graduated from the University of Missouri and taught English and journalism in public schools for 35 years, retiring in 1967. She was vice president of the Missouri Association of Teachers of English for two years. Her writings include poems, articles, editorials, devotionals and two books, one published as "Call Me Tillie". She was a member of Raymore Christian Church, where she was an elder and elder emeritus. She taught Sunday school for more than 50 years. Other survivors include: one son, Larry Summers, Huntington Beach, Calif.; one brother, Thurman Pasley, Gladstone; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Raymore Christian Church. Burial will be in Roscoe Cemetery, Roscoe. Visitation will be from 9-10 a.m. Friday at the church. Memorials are suggested to the Fellowship of John at Foxwood Springs; or to Raymore Christian Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Shelton-Goodrich Funeral Home, Osceola. Jefferson City News Tribune, January 2005 William Harry Kallenbach, 101, died January 19, 2005, at Foxwood Springs Living Center in Raymore, Missouri. The son of William Kallenbach and Cora Belle Thompson, he was born on a farm near Tuscumbia, Mo. Jan. 29, 1903. He graduated from Tuscumbia High School and attended Iberia College. He lived in Jefferson City from 1928-1981, working in state government and later for Standard and Phillips Oil companies until retirement. He married Wilma Wineva Page Nov. 24, 1932 and Wilma died July 14, 1978. Mr. Kallenbach served in the National Guard during WWII. An ardent sportsman, he gained recognition for his pedigree bird dogs and his expertise in judging dogs in competition. He was often featured in American Field. He was a charter member, Vice President and on the Board of the Missouri Conservation Federation. Also, Mr. Kallenbach was a board member of the American Red Cross and bloodmobile helper for many years. Mr. Kallenbach was a member of the Saline Valley Church of Christ. He then became a member of the Jefferson City First Christian Church and served in many capacities for 53 years. In 1931, he became a charter member of Raymore Missouri Christian Church along with his wife Flo, the former Flo Pasley Summers, whom he married in 1979 and who preceded him in death. Flo and Harry Kallenbach moved to Foxwood Springs May 19, 1891. Mr. Kallenbach was an active volunteer at Foxwood Springs. An avid gardener, he continued his gardening through his 95th year. Other survivors are his daughters, Patricia Treib, Safety Harbor, Fla., Harriet Long, Baltimore, Md., brothers Dr. Glen Kallenbach, Mexico, Mo., Royal Kallenbach, Eldon, Mo., Forrest Kallenbach, Donophan, Mo.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at Bromwell Lodge at Foxwood Springs Living Center, burial in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens, Jefferson City, Missouri.
