Obit., mid-Missouri newspaper - 1971: " Funeral services were held Monday at New Hope Baptist Church near Kaiser for Glen Forrest Jeffries, Rte. 1, Eldon. Mr. Jeffries, 71, died Thursday, May 13, 1971, at a hospital in Fulton. He was born Nov. 27, 1899, the son of Toliver and Mary (Long) Jeffries. On Aug. 17, 1938, he was married to Beulah DeGraffenreid, who survives. Also surviving are one son, Bernal Jeffries of Eldon; two grandchildren; and one sister, Sylvia Jeffries of Iberia. Mr. Jefferies was a member of the Eastside Assembly of God. The Rev. Eldon Myers officiated at the funeral services Monday. Burial was in the new Hope cemetery under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon."
