I have been finding a lot of my family member death certificates at http://www.sos.mo.gov/archives/resources/deathcertificates/ The two I'm having trouble finding that I'd love to find the most are Clara Viola Sanders Jenkins -- 04 Aug 1924 Luvinia Lucindia Green Jenkins -- 02 Apr 1914 My question is does any one know if all woman had death certificates for this time frame and if so maybe someone can help brainstorm on what name to look for in the index. I found one of my Kirkweg relatives under Katherina Rickweg June 12, 1923 Thanks in advance Julie Carr
Hi Julie, Clara Viola Jenkins died February 19, 1930 in Miller County: http://www.sos.mo.gov/TIF2PDFConsumer/DispPDF.aspx?fTiff=/archives/DeptofHealth/Death/1930/1930_00005928.TIF&Fln=595274.pdf Lena Lucille Jenkins died March 25, 1914 in St. Francois County: http://www.sos.mo.gov/TIF2PDFConsumer/DispPDF.aspx?fTiff=/archives/DeptofHealth/Death/1914/1914_00009774.TIF&Fln=1828310.pdf Although she died in late March, the funeral could have been delayed to early April 1914, due to extreme cold weather. You could also try varying the spelling of Jenkins to Jinkins or Jenkens. Good luck and hope this helps, ~ Mitch ~ --- On Sun, 11/29/09, Julie Carr <momsfamilytree@yahoo.com> wrote: > From: Julie Carr <momsfamilytree@yahoo.com> > Subject: [MOMILLER] Missouri Death Certificates > To: "Mo Miller" <momiller@rootsweb.com> > Date: Sunday, November 29, 2009, 10:54 PM > > I have been finding a lot of my family member death > certificates at > http://www.sos.mo.gov/archives/resources/deathcertificates/ > > > The two I'm having trouble finding that I'd love to find > the most are > > > Clara Viola Sanders Jenkins -- 04 Aug 1924 > Luvinia Lucindia Green Jenkins -- 02 Apr 1914 > > > My question is does any one know if all woman had death > certificates for this time frame and if so maybe someone can > help brainstorm on what name to look for in the index.
