Unknown Publication, May 1938 Manley Dake was born Dec. 19, 1899; died Dec 2, 1935, being at the time of his death 35 years, 11 months and 13 days old. He was the son of B.A. Dake and Martha Jane Dake. He was united in marriage to Anna Lee on May 7 1924, and to this union four children were born, all of whom survive him: Nadine, age 8 years; Eileen, 7; Carl, 5 and Mary, 3. He is also survived by five brothers, Jack, Joe and Willard of Dixon, Larman of Meta, George of Iberia and three sisters, Mrs. Sarah Wilson, Mrs. Susan Ahart, and Mrs. Fannie Thompson of Dixon, also his father and mother and many other relatives and friends. He united with the Pentecostal Assembly of God Church at Galena, Kans. in 1928 and remained true in this faith until his death. The remains were laid to rest in the Dake Cemetery on the farm where Manley was born to await the judgment day.
