The Iberia Sentinel, January 1937 Little Jackie Lee Duncan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Duncan, was born February 3, 1936; died January 19, 1937, being at the time of death 11 months, 2 weeks and 5 days old. He took sick three weeks ago with pneumonia fever. Jackie bore his suffering very faithfully to the end. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Duncan of Crocker; two grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Hayman Duncan of Crocker, and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Connor of Iberia; and great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. O.F. Ponder and Mrs. Nancy A. Connor, besides a host of other relatives and friends. Jackie Lee was loved by all that knew him. Funeral services conducted by Rev. John Phillips of Iberia, were held at Pleasant Hill Christian Church southwest of Iberia Thursday, January 21, and burial made in the cemetery at that place.
