The Iberia Sentinel,1937 Alex R. Gott, one of Miller County's well known citizens and a farmer of the Ulman community for many years, died at his home Monday night, July 28 (his death certificate says June 28), of a complication of diseases, principally heart and kidney trouble. He was 76 years, 9 months and 19 days old and made his home with his son, Lyan, of near Ulman. He is survived by two sons, Lynn of the home, and Kirt of Bloomfield, Indiana, and one daughter, Mrs. Ethel Hickman, Tulsa, Oklahoma. His wife died several years ago. Funeral services conducted by Rev. Jas. C. Thompson of Brumley, will be held today (Thursday afternoon) at 2:00 o'clock and interment will be made in the Gott Cemetery under the direction of Adams & Casey funeral service of Iberia.
