The Iberia Sentinel, August 1936 Gladys Mae Wall was born near Iberia, Mo. April 3rd, 1909; passed away Aug. 1st, 1936 at the age of 27 years. Gladys spent the early part of her life in Iberia. In 1917 she with her parents moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma where she spent the remainder of her life. She united with the Church of Christ in the spring of 1925. She was married to Mr. Carl E. Vogelman September 14, 1930. She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband, Carl E. Vogelman; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie Wall; sister, Mrs. H.C. Swan; brother, Raymond Wall, all of Tulsa; one grandmother, Mrs. Jane Wall of Iberia; a number of aunts and uncles, namely: Mrs. H.R. Wakefield and Mr. Avol Wall of Tulsa, Bert Wall of Miami, Okla., Rolla Wall of Iberia, Mr. William Whalen of Peggs, Okla., Mrs. E.M. Koester of St. Louis and Mr. George Whalen, Mr. John A. Whalen and Mrs. John U. Stone, all of Los Angeles, California, also one niece, Gloria Belle Swan and one nephew, Phillip Gary Wall. Funeral services were conducted from the Church of Christ August 3rd by Rev. L.R. Wilson. The scripture readings were taken from Ecc. 12th chapter. She was laid to rest in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Tulsa.
