The Iberia Sentinel, March 1934 John Thomas Morrow was born Dec 6, 1863, and passed from life on March 1, 1934, at the age of 70 years, two months and 23 days. The deceased united with the Christian Church at an early age, later becoming a faithful member of the Advent Christian Church of Brays. For a number of years he patiently and uncomplainingly suffered from a paralysis. Brother Morrow was the father of thirteen children, two of whom, together with three wives to whom he was consecutively married, preceded him in death. These were Elmer and Maud. The remaining children are as follows: Charles, Gordon, Claude and Redus of St. Louis; Everett of Jefferson City; James of Hancock; Lester of Hawkeye; Mrs. John Gontae, of Bellows Falls, Vermont; Owen and Tavie (Mrs. Vern McKee) of Brays and Mae of Iberia. He was first married to Nancy Rowden, who was the mother of five of his children. Being later married to Lennie Humphrey, daughter of Mart Humphrey, there were born to him seven children. The thirteenth child was the fruit of a third marriage to Mrs. Mellie Liesman. Funeral services and interment at Union Church, the message being brought by Miles G. Bowden of Dixon.
