Sister Thompson obeyed the Gospel early in life, and at the time of her death was a member of the Church of Christ at Alder Springs. She attended church faithfully until she became ill a few months ago. She loved the Bible and read its sacred pages often, sometimes quoting whole chapters, such as Acts 2nd chapter, which was one of her favorites. She was a faithful companion, a loving mother, a good neighbor and a zealous Christian. She was very patient, kind and cheerful all through her prolonged illness, even to the very last.
