    3. The Iberia Sentinel, August 1936 Mrs. Henry F. Carroll, one of Iberia's well and favorably known women, passed away at her home here Monday following a prolonged illness. For two weeks or more her condition was considered alarming and her children, who could come, were called to her bedside and were here when the end came. Hanna Elizabeth Grady was born December 31, 1868; died August 17, 1936, being 67 years, 7 months and 17 days old. On December 22, 1887, she was united in marriage to Henry F. Carroll and to this union seven children were born, two of whom are dead, Asa and Bert. Those living are Mrs. Icy Cadwell and Mrs. Evelyn Buenger, both of Granite City, Ill.; Roy of Bois D'Arc, Mo., Mrs. May Williams of Carthage, Mo., and Mrs. Gertie Irwin of Iberia, Mo. Besides the children she is survived by her invalid husband; one sister, Mrs. Rebecca Davis of Kansas; two half-sisters, Fannie Humphrey and Nancy Hicks; one half-brother, Thomas Grady of Iberia, 14 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. She united with the Iberia Baptist Church about the year 1885 and has always been a consistent member. Funeral services are being held this (Wednesday) afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Baptist Church, conducted by the pastor, Rev. John Phillips. Interment will be made in the Madden Cemetery under direction of local undertakers, Adams & Casey.
