The Iberia Sentinel, October 1933 Oliver F. Musick, a World War veteran who resided near Brumley, died last Sunday following an illness of several months duration. He is survived by his wife and eight children. Funeral services conducted by Rev. Fred Phillips pastor of the Iberia Baptist Church, were held Monday afternoon from the Baptist Church in Brumley, and a military burial was given the body at the Hawkins Cemetery by the American Legion Post of Iberia. Adams & Casey funeral directors of Iberia had charge. The passing of Mr. Musick leaves his large family in dire need of the necessities of life. His long illness, rendering him unable to work, left them destitute and neighbors and members of the American Legion have been furnishing aid.
Thanks for this one, too... I only have 4 children in my database for Oliver Fred Musick and his wife, Daisy Leona Phillips.
