Obituary - Unterrified Democrat, October 1972: Mrs. Mathilda Rehagen, 68, died Thursday ( 19 Oct. 1972) at St. Mary's Hospital following a long illness. Mrs. Rehagen was born Feb. 17, 1904, at St. Elizabeth, the daughter of Henry and Mary Lindenbusch. Mrs. Rehagen was married to the late John Rehagen May 13, 1924 at St. Elizabeth. Survivors include: Three brothers - Theodore Lindenbusch, St. Anthony; Ben Lindenbusch, St. Louis, and Steve Lindenbusch, St. Elizabeth; three sisters, Mrs.Nettie Voss and Mrs. Elizabeth Oligschlaeger, both of St. Anthony, and Mrs. Martha Dickniete, St. Louis; Six sons - Leonard Rehagen, Normandy; Norbert Rehagen, St. Elizabeth; Arnold Rehagen, Edward Rehagen, James Rehagen and David Rehagen, all of Jefferson City, and Mrs. Bernice Schulte of St. Anthony; 45 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday with the Rev. Joseph Patrick O'Rourke officiating at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Funeral arrangements are by Stevinson Funeral Home, Iberia."
