Central Standard Time, mjames7376@aol.com writes: Edwin J McComb Dies of Injuries Edwin J McComb of Lebanon, Mo. was reported to have been hit and mortally wounded by a freight train Monday Morning 10:00 while crossing a Frisco railroad track three blocks from his home. Mr. McComb and his wife, Lizzie, 80, lived in Lebanon with their six daughters and one son. They moved to Lebanon two years ago after having sold their farm. He was raised on the farm of his aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Houston of Barnett. He resided there until he took up farming himself. At the time of his death, Mr. McComb was 83 years old. He died at the Lebanon Hospital at 2:00 Wednesday morning.
