Obit., mid-Missouri newspaper - 1976: Emil Daniel Koch, 71, of Hermann, died Tues., June 8, 1976, at an Owensville nursing home following a two-week illness. Mr. Koch was born Oct. 8, 1904, at Hope, the son of Louis and Mary Noltensmeyer Koch. He was married to the former Miss Edith Herndon, and after her death, he married the former Mrs. Flora Schindler-Maupin on Nov. 4, 1941. She survives Other survivors include: one step daughter, Mrs. Alice Packard, Freemont, Calif.; one brother, Ben Koch, St. Joseph and two grandchildren. Funeral services were held Thursday at the Oklahoma Church of Christ with the Rev. Charles Bright and Rev. Richard Hurtgen officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery."
