Shelton and Rebecca Nancy Hughs married in Miller County? I didn't find it in my marriage books. Nothing shows up in my tombstone inscriptions books either for James A. Shelton. I also checked my birth and death record books as well. Peggy Hake with the Miller County Historical Society in Tuscumbia has done a lot of Shelton research. Did you try her? There was an Edward F. and Clarissa A. (Lawson) Shelton that had a son about the right age for James. Rebecca was living with a John Williams family in 1900.
