Obit., mid-Missouri newspaper - 1977: " Dennis Lane Koenigsfeld, 14, Frankenstein, died Tuesday afternoon, April 26, 1977, after suffering injuries in a one-vehicle accident that occurred at Frankenstein. He was born April 17, 1963 at Jefferson City, the son of Bob H. and LaVerne Kempker Koenigsfeld. Both parents survive, as does his step-mother, Mrs. Sherri Koenigsfeld. He was an eighth grade student at St. Mary's School, Frankenstein. Other survivors include: two brothers, David L. Koenigsfeld and Douglas Koenigsfeld, both of the home; two step-brothers, Kenneth Koenigsfeld of the home; and David Wayne Cooper, Las Vegas, Nev.; one sister, Miss Lisa Ann Koenigsfeld, Mary's Home; one half-sister, Miss Robyn Kay Koenigsfeld of the home; one step-sister, Miss Jodi Ann Koenigsfeld of the home. His maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Steve W. Kempker, Mary's Home, and his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Catherine Koenigsfeld, Jefferson City. Services were held Friday at Our Lady of Help Catholic Church, Frankenstein, with Rev. Patrick McMyler officiating. Burial was in the Garden of Gethsemane Cemetery, Frankenstein."
