I wonder if that should be a son of Ralph Duncan,brother to Clyde Duncan. The birthday sounds right. He was the only Ray Duncan I ever heard of. He went to the Army,married and lived in TX. for years until about 5 years ago. Now he lives at the Lake.  Ralph Duncan Married Gladys Wall and they lived there where Faith Store use to be. Ralph was a son on John & Ruth Workman Duncan. That makes sense to me; the birth ranges of the other children are around the same time period. School records list Clyde as "parent/guardian". Perhaps he was the one who enrolled Ray in school that day and his name was recorded.
