Santa Rosa Press Democrat 12/21/1978; 11A- "Bessie Ellen Mace-Services are Friday for Bessie Ellen Mace, who died Tuesday in a Santa Rosa hospital following a brief illness. She was 85. Mrs. Mace, a resident of Santa Rosa for 20 years, was a lifelong housewife and a member of the Pentecostal Church of Windsor. She was a native of Missouri. She was the wife of the late Edgar E. Mace, and is survived by three sons, Cecil Mace of Santa Rosa; Claude Mace, Norco, Calif; and Edgar E. Mace, Jr. Omaha, Neb.
