Brenda, I Think we've talked before. Peter is not listed as one of John Carlton's children. I've never connected Peter to my Carltons, but there were so many of them that I wouldn't be surprised if he were. I have Phillips also, but I don't think it's the same line as yours. What records do you have on your Peter Carlton? Maybe we can tie him in. peg Is the John Carlton that you mention the husband of Malinda and father of Peter J Carlton? Peter J. Carlton married Mary Catherine Phillips who was one of the daughters of my ggg grandfather, John a. Phillips. I can find no final record of Mary Catherine or her son Harvey. I know that she was alive in 1883 when John Phillips will was written . He died in 1896. If you have any info on these Carltons I would appreciate it.
