Obituary: Jefferson City News Tribune, Sunday, March 3, 2002 Grace M. Hollandsworth, 87, Holts Summit, died Feb. 28, 2002, at her home. She was born July 28, 1914, in Miller County, a daughter of Thomas and Joshie Pierce Shackleford. She was married Oct. 1, 1940, at Montgomery City to Everett Hollandsworth, who died on Jan. 8, 1999. She was a homemaker and lifelong resident of Central Missouri. She attended school in rural Miller County and was a member of Memorial Baptist Church. Survivors include: five daughters, Barbara Deppe and Mary Shoults, both of Jefferson City, Linda Schaffer, Henley, Carol Fitzpatrick, Wardsville, and Debbie Steelman, Holts Summit; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one grandson. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Freeman Chapel. The Rev. David Higgs will officiate. Burial will be in Longview Cemetery (Jefferson City). Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Monday. Memorials are suggested to The Grace Hollandsworth Memorial Fund.
