Obituary: The Eldon Advertiser, October 1987 Agnes B. Overfelt, 88, of Lake Ozark died Saturdayk, Oct. 31, 1987 at Brooking Park Manor in Sedalia. She was born Dec. 20, 1898 in the Marvin community to William and Hannan Daniel Bradshaw. On Dec. 20, 1922 she was married to Samuel Elkin Overfelt, who died in 1960. Mrs. Overfelt was a graduate of Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, graduation in 1920. A former teacher, Mrs. Overfelt also owned the Oak Hill Motel in Lake Ozark for 15 years. She attended the Bagnell Baptist Church and was a 50-year member of the Barnett Order of the Eastern Star. Surviving her are a son, Samuel Overfelt of Jefferson City; a brother, George Bradshaw of Versailles; a sister, Marie Crum of Kansas City; three grandsons; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Phillips Funeral Home in Eldon with the Rev. Harvell R. Sanders officiating. Burial was in the Eldon Cemetery.
