Obituary: The Miller County Sentinel, January 8, 1959 Tom Brown, 88, who had spent his entire life in Miller County near Brumley, died at his home Friday, January 2. Funeral services were held Sunday at the Brumley Christian Church with the Rev. James Bade officiating. Burial was in the Hawkins Cemetery with Hedges in charge of arrangements. He was a son of Sam and Nancy Brown. When a young man, he united with the Brumley Christian Church. He was preceded in death by one son, Homer; three brothers, Mark, Ed and Willie; and one sister, Mandy. He is survived by a daughter, Marzell Maylee of Brumley and three sons, Snowed and Lynn of Brumley and Willard.
