Oh My!...So sorry to hear this sad news. I have wondered over the last few months about DeVere...and have so missed his clever quips and comments. A very special person... friendly, kind, AND what a great sense of humor! I loved to hear his stories and historical accounts, told in his own .... funny and charming way of putting things. Always eager to help us "novices" with our questions about Miller County and its people....I truly appreciated his efforts ...and more than that, I appreciate the truly fine person!
