Margaret Arminta McDaniel, 94, of Kansas City, formerly of Eldon, died Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2005, in Kansas City. She was born May 16, 1911, in Eldon to Lyman Corwin and Nellie Jane Harris Moore. On June 28, 1940, she was married in Eldon to Roy H. McDaniel, who died Feb. 22, 1996. Mrs. McDaniel was a piano teacher, teaching more than 400 children. she was a member of the Eldon Country Club, the Order of the Eastern Star and the Eldon First Christian Church. Surviving her are a daughter, Janelle O'Dell of Kansas City; two grandchildren, Ryan O'Dell of Kansas City and Megan Rodriguez of Springfield; a great-grandchild; and a brother, Corwin Moore of Raytown. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Eldon First Christian Church with the Rev. Shirley Williams officiating. Burial was in the Eldon Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Eldon First Christian Church.
