Mrs Katherine Barron, 80 dies: former Tuscumbia Resident Mrs. Katherine Barron, 80 , of Eudora, Kansas died Friday, March 23, 1979, at Eudora Nursing Home in Eudora. She was a former resident of Tuscumbia. She was born June 23, 1898 in Kansas City. Nov. 5, 1925, she was married in Kansas City to George William Barron, who died August 3, 1965. Mrs. Barron was a member of the Baptist Church. She moved to Tuscumbia in 1946 and lived there until 1968 when she returned to Kansas City. She had been a resident of the nursing home for two years. Mrs. Joyce McDaniel, Overland Park, Kansas, a daughter; and Mrs. Helen Bush, Kansas City, a sister survive Mrs. Barron. Funeral services will be held at 2 p,m.
